About The Green Umbrella
The Green Umbrella was founded while owner, Lisa Storch was researching products for her own personal use, and for use by her Holistic Health Counseling clients. Lisa's love of these unique organic and eco-friendly products prompted her to create a webstore where everyone could purchase these remarkable green goods.
Lisa's education in both Health and Wellness and Culinary Arts, created an excellent foundation to grow The Green Umbrella.
Lisa is a Culinary Institute of America trained Chef, a certified Holistic Health Counselor from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition and holds a B.S. in Dietetics from The University of Maryland.
In addition to counseling clients over the last few years, she has been catering events in the tri-state area since 1996.
The products featured on The Green Umbrella's site are made from organic cotton, hemp, bamboo and recycled materials, or are health related. The personal care and raw food products are organic, chemical free and non-toxic. Customers of The Green Umbrella will be helping to create a better environment and will be lightening their footprint on our mother earth.
